A Refined Woman

A black dress
Seamless and sculpted,
Sleeveless but long over the knees.
A soft shawl draped over the shoulders.
Neckline below collarbone and
Necklace— a single pendant, brilliant and rare.

Hair, casually coiffed,
Twisted into a low bun, sleek and slender,
At the nape of the neck.
A few stray hairs loose
for effect.

Figure slender,
She walks,
A champagne flute in her hand,
An air of effortless ease.

A woman of sophisticated grace,
A refined elegance,
An image of beauty.

Around the lit garden she walks,
Amongst guests and strangers,
Her silhouette.
